Reverend Pam H. McLaughlin

 

Pamela is a living example of the transforming power of God. Realizing God's hand upon her life at an early age, she has witnessed God's protection and providential care throughout her life's journey.

Though a native of Washington, D.C., her spiritual roots began when she joined the Mt. Sinai Glorious Church of God in Danville, VA.

 

Pamela was formally educated at Hampton Institute and Virginia State University, receiving a Bachelor of Music Education Degree from VSU. She also received a Master of Education Degree in Educational Administration & Supervision from VSU. An educator for over 20 years, she taught Choral Music and Drama in Petersburg and Chesterfield Co. Public Schools. She was the founding Administrator and Executive Director of Olivet Christian Academy, Inc. for 12 years. 

 

She serves as the Director of Education, Performing Arts, Women's Ministry, the Director of Christian Education, and is a licensed and ordained member of the Mount Olivet Church Ministerial Staff.

 

She has been married for over 43 years to the Rev. Dr. Wesley Keith McLaughlin, Senior Pastor of Mt. Olivet for over 37 years, and they are the grateful parents of one son, Ass't Pastor Jameson Keith McLaughlin, daughter-in-love, Phaedra, and grandparents to granddaughter, Charis, and twin grandsons: Jacob & Joshua.

 

Pamela has ministered across the U.S., Germany, Bermuda, the Carribbean, Suriname-S. America, Curacao, French Guyana, Kenya- E. Africa, Uganda, Malawi- E.Africa, Sikkim-India, and has organized mission teams for her most cherished and frequented assignment, Ghana- West Africa. She is an International Evangelist for Global Women's Conferences and Church Revivals in Ghana (Sogokope, Hohoe, Keta, Ho-Fiave, and Accra). She co-founded Grace Village Ministries Intl, a fresh new, thriving ministry which provides a place of worship, training and outreach for the inner-city of Accra, Ghana.
